Overview
Find help balancing your work, family, and personal life with support from the Member Assistance Program (MAP). The MAP is available to all medical plan members and their dependents.
The UNITE HERE Local 11 Health Benefit Fund contracts with Carelon Wellbeing to provide you and your enrolled dependents six (6) in-person or virtual counseling sessions per legal, financial, or mental health issue, per year.
What’s covered
The Member Assistance Program is here for your everyday problems and questions, big or small. Your Carelon Wellbeing benefit offers information, guidance, and support to help you and your family reach your personal and professional goals. This no-cost benefit is offered by the UNITE HERE Local 11 Health Benefit Fund and is completely confidential.
Professional counseling
Schedule an appointment with a licensed professional counselor for confidential online or in-person sessions during times that work for you, even on evenings and weekends. You and your dependents each receive 6 visits per issue, per year.
Choose from a network of caring clinicians who can help with a range of personal and work-related concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, and life transitions.
Legal and financial services
You and your family may experience legal or financial hurdles at some point, which can lead to stress and worry. Carelon Wellbeing can help you find discounts on legal and financial services and help you have safe, confidential discussions with a legal or financial expert.
You may also be eligible for more extensive legal services through the Legal Plan available through many UNITE HERE Local 11 contracts. Call (213) 785-6999 to contact the Legal Fund.
